The goal is to expand reach to increase education and self-awareness. Treat Your Trauma serves as a conduit between various entities that are working to change how we view and prioritize mental with the various entities providing direct community services on the state and national levels.

Countless ground-zero community organizations and advocacy groups have a mission that includes a mental health initiative. Collaborating with small, local groups, can help educate the public and implement evidence-based programs to support families for generational changes.

“Since the onset of the pandemic, 38 states have enacted nearly 100 laws focused on supporting schools in their role as one of the primary access points for pediatric behavioral health care. These laws provide funding for school-based mental health services, strategic planning to improve school mental health systems, training and resources for school staff and students, and guidance for school policies. TYT partners with schools to ensure limited capacity is not a factor in connecting with students. Working with academic institutions to create relevant social and emotional digital learning programs and other fact-based approaches.

When choosing partners, we are looking for access, reach, and community. Within various communities, the church serves as the beacon for information and encouragement. TYT partners with church leaders to ensure their congregation understands the movement and has access to resources for support.

Doctors, nurses, and additional frontline health workers have experienced an immeasurable level of suffering due to the pandemic with many rethinking their careers. In partnering with health care facilities and working in tandem with human resources, TYT provides speaking, workshops, and training for staff to ensure they create healthy boundaries.
