  • TRAUMA AND THE BOTTOM LINE

Leaning into increasing mental health services for employees is imperative due to the pandemic. Access is important but not nearly as important as education and understanding the importance of prioritizing mental health care.

Be like a river in generosity and giving help. Be like a sun in tenderness and pity. Be like night when covering others’ faults.

— Rumi, 13th-century Persian poet

Be a Part of the Change

Treat Your Trauma (TYT), is a national, grassroots self-awareness movement to encourage individuals to seek mental health support and to help break the stigma associated with acknowledging trauma and finding the individualized tools for healing.  The vision is to initiate a fact-based conversation; provide centralized resources and attainable practices for healing; and influence legislation to support an equitable and inclusive mental health curriculum in the education system. TYT is not a fad campaign or a hashtag or a campaign of sound bytes and brief fame. TYT is a campaign granting permission to seek mental freedom. It is a self-awareness campaign to help people see the power that is already within them.
